NOM-194-SE-2021, known as “Essential Safety Devices in New Vehicles-Safety Specifications”, establishes safety parameters, such as the presence of airbags and ABS brakes, that all vehicles must comply with to guarantee the protection of the occupants. However, the Chang Li S1 Pro does not meet these requirements, which puts it in non-compliance with the standard that will take effect in January 2024.
