“Steve Carell plays Blue and is a dear friend,” Krasinski, 44, reveals about his former partner. “In fact we work together on this little thing “a long time ago,” adds the actor and director jokingly about the global success of the television fiction developed by Greg Daniels.

When Carell, 61, enters the recording studio, they hug each other and both express: “It’s so good to see you.”. Next, Krasinski adds: “I was telling these guys – Has it been years?”. To which Steve replies, “Years,” before jokingly shrugging his shoulders at the cameras. “I’m glad we’re capturing it. This is so intimate,” he adds.

The promotional video continues with another joke from John pointing out that the moment in which they hug is the fifth take they are taking to record their reunion, so Carell performs the same action again, but in a more exaggerated way.

The film—which is expected in movie theaters on May 17 in the United States and May 15 in Mexico—, revolves around an imaginary character named Blue, played by Carell, who plays the imaginary friend of the protagonist, Bea, played by Cailey Fleming.
