“I have to leave everything”: Leo Caprile revealed his concern after suffering a cerebral infarction

After suffering a cerebral infarction, Leo Caprileremembered entertainer and radio host, referred to the cerebral stroke which he suffered last April and which led him to attend a hospital after feeling “abnormal and suspicious symptoms.”

After using his social networks to state that the promptness of care prevented damage to his body, Caprile now updated his status in conversation with the podcast “Ni Tan Penca” by Kurt Carrera and Pablo Zamora.

“I’m fine, kids, it was just a scare (…) I have to leave everything”, he stated in a telephone contact after being asked if he should give up things like meat.

All in all, I was very lucky because I was left without any consequences. and as in all things, what prevails here is information and education, and I was educated about it and that is why I acted at the right moment,” Caprile explained, joking about how one of the key symptoms is a leg problem.

“The doctor told me ‘if you go to bed you will become a quadriplegic’, because the deterioration continues throughout the rest,” he noted. “One in four Chileans is prone to suffering a stroke, so it’s time to talk seriously, because everyone talks about cancer, but somehow it gives you more time and here you’re really wiped out, you’re left with motor problems,” explained the remembered animator of How Much the Show is Worth.

Among the precautions you should take, Caprile stressed that you should quit smoking, be careful with cholesterol and be concerned even with issues such as snoring and quality of sleep, due to the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain.
