British actor Bernard Hill, recognized for his roles in films Titanic and The Lord of the ringsdied this Sunday at the age of 79, according to his representative, Lou Coulsonto the British network BBC.
Hill played Captain Edward Smith in the Oscar-winning film about the ocean liner tragedy in 1997 and also in King Théoden in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
