Sixto Rein speaks after his release from prison: “Let there be light!”

Two years have passed since Sixto Rein released his last album, “El seis”. Now, after much preparation and full of many changes in his career, the singer releases the album “Hágase la luz”, which is now available on all his digital platforms.

This project, which he worked in conjunction with Yan Leyton and his team at Monster University in terms of composition and performance direction, It is focused on the good energy that characterizes Sixto, at the same time he tried to fill it with fresher sounds and lyrics from the hand of a young team and many ideas.

“There are eight urban songs, which are mixed a little with Afrobeat, others with electronica, and the reggaetones have different speeds that make them feel different rhythms, even though it is the same genre. “Each of the eight songs represents an emotion and a feeling,” Sixtus says.

The first promotional single is “Hágase la luz”, a topic that arose after noticing the energetic change he felt in his music after naming his manager Luz Kelly Pinto in the guidelines of each song. I also wanted to give this name to the album, because it sounds very motivating and hopeful, “which matches exactly this season of my life where there are so many things that I consider to be light,” complements.

The eight songs on this album have official music videos that were filmed in Puerto Rico, Miami, Utah and New York, all directed by Jhon Nael and produced by Luz Kelly Pinto. “The idea is that each topic has great energy, that they connect with the public and they are the ones who decide which of the eight paths we should follow. Without a doubt, recording all the videos with Jhon Nael was a great experience, which beyond being fun, I know the camera captured it 100%”says Sixto.

After preparing for this moment for a couple of years, The “Original Boy” is ready and excited for the premiere of this album, which so far he classifies as the biggest of his career. “’Let there be light’ has a lot of professional meaning, because it is the largest and most organized launch in all aspects. From the creation of each song, through the sequential videos and the distribution that is done with Altafonte, which we know will help us go further,” ends.
