There is no doubt that Pedro Coral changed Miguel Varoni’s life. The colorful character who starred in the soap opera Pedro el escamoso, with her long, wavy hair, leather boots and a striking ‘look’ that prevents many from taking their eyes off her, she became an icon of recent decades of Colombian television. Not to mention the luxury of choreography and movements when dancing, especially the song known as The pirulina.
“My mompirri” is back. That word with which Pedro defines his friends, in addition to his looks, his expressions and dances return in the sequel series of the soap opera, which aired more than 20 years ago. The second part of Peter the Scaly – which will be called Peter the Flaky: Flakier than ever- It will be seen on the Disney+ streaming platform and on Caracol Televisión.
Joining Varoni will be Juan Carlos Arango, Andrea Guzmán, Marcela Mar, Fernando Arévalo and Sandra Reyes. Carlos Torres will play Pedro Junio, the protagonist’s son.

After living for twenty years abroad, the protagonist of the story returns to his homeland to find a completely different reality than the one he left behind when he was forced to seek new horizons. To his surprise, he discovers that his son – whom he left in the care of Pastor Gaitán – has become a successful and prosperous professional, forcing him to invent a series of stories with the aim of hiding what has been a life of sacrifices and deprivation and earn the respect and admiration of Pedro Junior.
