MEXICO CITY, June 9 (EL UNIVERSAL).- Maluma not only dazzled with his performance in the final of the Kings Word Cup 2024, but he surprised more than one when he was caught in an oxxo in Monterrey, where he stopped to buy some cans of beer, before going on stage at the BBVA Stadium, where more than 53 thousand fans chanted with him.

To close the international soccer tournament, Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos called on the Colombian singer to preside over the show; Maluma did not hesitate for a moment to accept, because he has a special affection for Mexico and his fans in our country.

And although it is not the first time that the singer travels to Mexican lands, and walks there as if he were not a celebrity, his appearance on the streets, like just another passerby, continues to cause surprise.

On that occasion, the “Cuatro babys” singer was seen in an oxxo in the municipality of Guadalupe, in Nuevo León, where he went to buy some cans of the Tecate Light brand, the beer most consumed by Monterrey residents.

The 30-year-old singer did not try to hide his appearance behind dark glasses, a cap, or a sweatshirt that hid his characteristic tattoos. Instead, he was seen very uninhibited joking with the cashier at the self-service store who, inevitably, gave him He asked if he was the famous Colombian singer.

Jokingly, Maluma expressed that he was already used to being compared to the singer, suggesting that it was not about him, even though his Colombian tone was more than obvious.
