Actor and producer Ron Simons (‘Succession’, ‘Daredevil’) dies at 63

On Wednesday the actor and producer died Ron Simons. Simons was born in Detroit in 1960 and did not feel the urge to dedicate himself to entertainment until he was close to his 40th birthday. She started by graduating in marketing and working for Microsoft, until he wanted to turn his life around and graduated as an interpreter in Washington. It was here that her first roles came for theater, and not long after for film and television. Simons used to carve out her career among secondary characters, with films known as 27 dresses but above all a good handful of series.

Simons’ ambitions were not limited to acting, as around 2009 she founded her own production company, SimonSays, and just a year later she made possible the release of Night Catches Us with Anthony Mackie.

He then went on to develop several plays on Broadway, winning four Tony Awards for his efforts and seeing his activity revitalized after the pandemic, when he became involved in applauded performances of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enough either Thoughts of a Colored Man.
