The king of reggaeton, William Omar Landrón Rivera, known artistically as Don Omarannounced that he suffers from cancer.
“Today yes, but tomorrow I won’t have cancer. Good intentions are well received. See you soon”he revealed through a message on his Instagram social network profile.
The singer did not report what type of cancer he specifically suffers from. With a photo of his wrist in which you can see a white and red bracelet from a hospital in the United States, he wanted to make it clear to his followers that he will fight the disease to the end.
Thousands of fans did not take long to respond to the news and responded by sending him a message of encouragement: “A king does not give up, God bless you”; “A difficult war but those of us who, even without knowing you, have seen you battle in life, know that you are an unbeatable warrior. We are with you William”; “God is with you”.
William Omar Landrón Rivera said goodbye to the stage in 2017 after more than 15 years of musical career in which he managed to achieve great successes with songs such as ‘Kuduro Dance’ either ‘Give him a gift’among many others.
