At 24 years old Lucia of the Door It has a legion of followers on social networks (@luciadelapuerta): more than 3 million on Tik Tok, almost 900,000 on Instagram. He lives in Madrid but has come to Bilbao for his graduation – he has just finished Medicine -; an occasion that we have taken advantage of to chat with her in Basque Wave.
His great dream is to be singer and he has already released some songs that have achieved significant success. In fact, that’s it nominated for the Latin Heat Awards in two categories: ‘Musical promise’ and ‘Fandom of the Year’. Despite having finished a university degree as tough as Medicine, he confesses that “I have been presented with the possibility of fulfilling a dream and to dedicate myself to things that, now at this moment in my life, I think I will be happier. Therefore, at the end of the race I have decided that I am going to Give myself some time to focus on what I really like, which is music, and give it my all, everything, everything.,….as I think is my lifestyle.”
Lucía de la Puerta is now preparing and rehearsing for her performance at the Pride of Madrid. “I’m fully rehearsing, I love it.” A challenge that she faces because in addition to singing she is preparing to dance. “I’m really excited that they called me and told me ‘we want you to sing here.’ That it is a day that represents so much to me and is so special has made me very excited.“.
