At the end of the play and after the usual greetings amidst a shower of applause, Peña took the microphone and highlighted: “We have a luxury visit, you are beautiful, you are beautiful. Mirtha came to see us and we are proud to have her in the audience”, which caused the applause that was being directed to those on stage to move to the seat where the star guest was, who also took the opportunity to offer a few words.

“What a show, guys! How they sang, how they danced, a wonderful cast,” Mirtha began with the praise, before the attentive gaze and respectful silence of those present. “Abba’s music, Ricky Pashkus’ direction, a pleasure. In addition to the satisfaction with what she saw on stage, Mirtha Legrand’s emotion also had its genesis in the memory of what she experienced in that room some 60 years ago, when, with the help of Carlos A. Petitthe remembered “magazine czar,” was summoned for the magazine titled Buenos Aires of silk and percalein which he shared the bill with figures of the stature of Mariano Mores, Antonio Prieto, Niní Marshall, Susy Leiva and Enrique Dumas.

For the end of the evening, the diva and those who were with her traveled to La Recova de Posadas, one of the most prominent gastronomic centers in the City of Buenos Aires, a space where in the past the remembered Seaver Passage was found, a 135-meter-long dead-end street whose famous staircase, located at one end, was a fundamental part of the setting of several films of the time.
