“We do not know if there was a signed document in which it had been explained to him as a patient what the results, the benefits, the correct procedures could be, or if he could be left with some type of psychological idea regarding the situation. We do not know the clinical history from the office. He tried to request it on two occasions, but it seems that they did not provide it to him,” said Álex.
Álex added that his brother’s final days were loaded with depression. “We saw him very crestfallen, very sad, he complained a lot about pain and repeatedly mentioned that the doctor had deceived him. They went to a judicial process in a court and since they did not reach an agreement, he began to express that this could not happen to him, that he could not tolerate it and that it was not going to stay like this.
Finally, Álex gave his opinion on the situation that led to the murder of the doctor and subsequent suicide of Jhon Ferney: “It is not as has been said, that my brother was the one who threatened him. “I would agree that the two threatened each other.”
