Agreement between Health and the Mar de Plata School of Medicine

With the aim of carrying out coordinated work, the Ministry of Health of the Province and the Higher School of Medicine of the National University of Mar del Plata signed an agreement for the development in Catamarca of the Compulsory Final Practice and the Career Health Camp of Medicine of the Unmdp.

This project was carried out for the first time in the Province in the month of February, specifically in the town of Santa María. Within the Compulsory Final Practice, the realization of a Health Camp is implemented as an integrating space for medical care, research and teaching.

For its development, the Ministry of Health is committed to providing an adequate physical space for coexistence and community work in the territory, which encourages learning in instances of study and development of academic activities.

For the signing of the agreement, the Minister of Health of the province, Lucas Zampieri, received the director of the Medical School of the Higher School of Medicine of Mar del Plata, Dr. Adrián Alasino, together with the Secretary of Public Health Assistance, Johana Carrizo, the Secretary of Health Planning and Management, Daniela Ayala, and the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the National University of Catamarca, Omar Barrionuevo.
