“It just depends on my schedule. “I am at the mercy of the filming,” she states. “That takes a little priority over some routines. So I work out at night or when I come home, just to make sure that even though I’m tired from a day at work, I still put some time into it.”

Training is a staple in Jordan’s routine, after growing up and taking on an industry that, he previously told Yahoo Life, has taught him to “treat my body like a business.” But exercise is something he approaches with gratitude, rather than fear.

“If I can’t do what I normally do when I have a day off or have the luxury of getting up early, I try to find time at some point in the day to do something,” he says, noting that his minimum workout will include “push-ups and sit-ups, getting up to a treadmill or meditation.” As long as you put in a little time, it will go into your goodwill bank.”

Jordan says other parts of your wellness routine are equally important. “I’m 37 now and I realize that as you get older your body needs different things and you have to take care of yourself. You have to stretch more, you have to make sure you take vitamins, you have to make sure you drink plenty of water, you have to know that you are getting enough rest. When you start paying attention to those things and listening to your body, you start taking it a little more seriously,” she said.

This awareness comes to him after years of pushing his body to the limit for his job, something he still does from time to time. Nowadays, however, she is careful not to burn out. “I’m here talking like I’m not capable of reaching a certain level of fitness,” she jokes. “But you know, with the surgeries that I’ve had and when it comes to injuries and things like that from sports or acrobatics, you have to know that you have to warm up your shoulders, you have to warm up your knees or your ankles or certain areas that might have suffered some damage over the years. And then you just put in the time.”

Devoting time is one of the things he preaches as he continues his work with Propel Fitness Water in the project Propel Your City and makes exercise and wellness more accessible to communities across the country with the introduction of fitness centers. The goal during her second year working with the organization is growth and expansion, she says. That is also the motto that has guided her own evolution.

“You always strive for perfection, but you understand where you land and that’s where you are,” he says, explaining that he makes an effort not to compare his current self to his past self, especially when it’s documented in years of shirtless scenes. “In my line of work, you know, there’s a visual resume and a reflection period that’s hard to escape from. I think you have to give yourself grace and understanding. There is a reality: getting older and everything is not going to be the same and being okay with that.”

“You can’t compare yourself to the past no matter how much your mind makes you believe you can. You just have to understand where you are and adjust your expectations for certain things,” she continues. “It is very important to have mental strength and not be distracted by all the noise. I think you should stay locked in your own little journey,” she concluded.
