Students of the third year of medicine of the University of Mendoza presented this Thursday in a conference, which took place in the Schestakow hospitalsix epidemiological research works whose results will also be available to the authorities of the public hospital.

The hospital’s neonatologist and university professor spoke to the media about this. Maria Emilia Bergero. The professional noted that “6 research papers were presented with different methods on specific topics that help students in their learning.”

The bioengineer and professor at the same university also spoke, Ricardo Juri and highlighted that “the work was related to the donation of breast milk, specific clinical cases and transfers of neonatal patients with complexities that are mostly referred to the Notti hospital.”

In order to carry out the research, the students had the help of the Schestakow authorities who opened the doors of all the services to them and in that sense the professional pointed out that “this is very important for the students who will be future doctors and perhaps many of them work in this hospital.”

From Schestakow they explained that “we have a teaching hospital, we are open to these tasks and we take the information that the students collected to correct or take measures for the future.”
