District launches strategy to bring well-being to 35,000

The Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla launched the ‘Toc Toc Early Childhood’ strategy, which seeks to impact Barranquilla children, their families and the community in general in the 5 locations of the city through the carrying out of recreational, recreational, art and culture, in an articulated manner between public and private sector.

Mayor Alejandro Char highlighted that in these 4 years they seek to impact more than 35,000 girls and boys in the Barranquilla District with the strategy.

“We are going to reach all the neighborhoods, all the blocks of Barranquilla, bringing joy, bringing sports, culture, traditional games; We are going to involve the children and parents. All the neighborhoods of the city will be visited, holding 2 monthly meetings in the 5 locations,” explained Char.

“Our mayor Alejandro Char has sent us to the streets, he has sent us to the neighborhoods so that we can impact all the children of Barranquilla“said Patricia Vargas, director of the District’s Early Childhood program.

The strategy consists of promoting access to Barranquilla childhoodtheir family and the community to recreational spaces, with a care model that has been recognized nationally by allowing children and their families to receive quality recreational and recreational experiences at the door of their homes.
