The Country Clinicin Bogotá, announced this Thursday the first Medical part of the director of the Administrative Department of the Presidency (Dapre), Laura Sarabiaafter the president Gustavo Petro would claim that she had to be hospitalizedeven reaching the Intensive Care Unit.

“Laura Sarabia, the director of Dapre, could not be with us here because she had to be hospitalized yesterday, and even had to go to intensive care; she has suffered a violent attack via social media channels that the press has made official, turning them into news without investigating,” the head of state said on Friday.

The medical center indicated in a statement that Sarabia “is stable and under medical observation,” without detailing the health problem suffered by the official.
“The Clinica del Country would like to inform that yesterday, Mrs. Laura Sarabia Torres, Director of the Administrative Department of the Presidency of the Republic (DAPRE), entered the facilities of the Clinica del Country to be clinically evaluated by our health professionals,” it reads.

He added that “Mrs. Sarabia is under the observation of our medical and care team. She is stable and her health condition does not compromise her life. “The medical staff has been working diligently to ensure the patient’s well-being and provide high-quality medical care.”
