Valerie de la Cruz Millán, nicknamed Beba, appeared on her social networks to send a message after her expulsion from the Challenge XX. The Barranquilla woman left the television program amid controversy over her performance and failure to comply with the rules.
The Challenge returned to Colombian television screens to show the competition between four teams, Alpha, Beta, Omega and Gamma, which undergo numerous survival tests.
Beba claimed that she suffered tendonitis in the middle of the tests.

‘Beba’, Alpha contestant, was sanctioned for leaving Playa Baja, the space where her team was serving a punishment. “He crossed the limits of the territory, he dropped his vest, among many other things,” said presenter Andrea Serna.
Before assuming the expulsion, the young woman assured before the television cameras that she suffered from tendonitis and even said that her teammates had been less than “empathetic” with her condition.
However, Serna criticized that all participants had a medical team at their disposal that supported their participation in the tests.
“I feel happy and blessed that they expelled me because I wanted to leave. I didn’t want to be here,” she said in the program.

In a video, shared on his Instagram account, The former contestant said she was going through a lot of emotions and thoughts.

“There are so many things I would like to say. I am going to focus on an important message. First, to say what a strong experience, but at the same time so edifying,” he said.
Beba assured that she was taking time to assimilate everything that happened: “This experience is part of a personal process, of which I am 100% sure that God will allow a much stronger, more resilient Valerie to emerge through this whole situation.” and mature emotionally.
In addition to thanking her followers for their support, she told them that “there’s ‘Beba’ for a while”: “I’m sure that my story in life is just beginning to be written.”
He also took the opportunity to remind Internet users that “they see an edited television program”, in which “the aim is to obtain ratings, touch fibers, generate passions, awaken emotions.”
“What you are seeing is not a quarter of a person’s reality,” he stated and acknowledged that he has “many things to change.”
According to him, he is “much better” from his tendonitis.
