Harvey Weinstein, urgently hospitalized in New York due to his multiple health problems

Harvey Weinstein has had to be admitted to a hospital in New York, after the numerous health problems he is going through, as explained by his lawyer. Arthur Aidala told TMZ that the former film producer is at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan to be examined.

Of course, he points out that Weinstein is in good spirits and happy with the medical care he is receiving after being released from prison. The problems he has have not been revealed, nor those that have forced him to be hospitalized, although it is said that he suffers from heart ailments, diabetes, sleep apnea and eye problemsamong others.

In fact, Weinstein’s representative, Juda Engelmayer, described the 16-year prison sentence, imposed by a Los Angeles judge, as as something cruel due to his age and state of healthsince it is something that I could not achieve.

However, later this conviction was overturned in New York by an appeals court, which will force him to go through another trial in the North American city. A spokesperson for the New York Department of Corrections told the Associated Press that Weinstein remains in custody at Bellevue.
