More than a decade has passed since Alfredo Balsa and his friend found the lifeless body of little Asunta, beginning, not chronologically but in the media, an episode that shocked the entire country and that ended with Rosario Porto and Alfonso Basterra imprisoned for the murder of their daughter. The unknowns of a case in which there was no lack of evidence to convict the parents, from the ropes with which the body had been tied to the presence of lorazepam in the little girl’s body, caused the wound to heal poorly over time.
