After the presentation of his latest album, “Un mechón de pelo”, Tini Stoessel broke the silence and in a one-on-one with the psychologist Gabriel Rolón, the artist explained the reasons for her constant changes in look, the reason why she decided to call her most recent album material that way and how difficult it was for her to continue producing content while dealing with health issues.

I remember how I started losing my hair when my dad was hospitalized and clumps of hair fell out. I hit rock bottom, I changed the color or cut it. The hair represented what happened to me emotionally,” she said.

And she continued about the symbolic value she gave to this change of look: “At the time, my hair made me feel more secure, it was part of me and now I hate not having it. I am so proud and happy of everything else that took a backseat”.

The singer spoke about the harassment she experienced on social networks and how that damaged her mental and physical health. “I felt that covering myself was the solution, I started dressing big, putting on gloves, getting fat in photos. I had already normalized it“, he revealed about the distortion with his physique that he suffered for a long time.

“And then I realized how much it affected me. Am I going to spend my whole life waiting for everyone’s acceptance? I’m going to end up unhappy all my life. In that process I said “I can no longer talk about it with my friends and my family, with my psychologist and my psychiatrist, I need to get it out there.””, he concluded.

After the interview, Stoessel wrote on his social networks. “This album, and these shows definitely They marked my heart and my life forever“, she said and added: “Thank you for accompanying me, I am still very mobilized.”
