The premises are located at number 14 of the Echegaray Street, thus sharing a location with Viva Madrid and Salmon Guru. To access this location, it will be necessary have an access code, which changes weekly to preserve the mysterious atmosphere of the premises. Diners receive the password by email when confirming the reservation and must enter it on the keyboard at the entrance. If correct, the door will open and the adventure will begin.

Upon crossing its doors, we will find a curious place, where there is only one large central table with capacity for a maximum of 20 people, linked directly to the cocktail bar and close to its open kitchen, where the guests of the day can see how the preparations they will enjoy are being developed. The place is decorated with neon lights, letters in the Chinese alphabet and two vertical gardens, one hydroponic and the other botanical.

The concept behind this place is that of a innovation laboratory, a place to develop new dishes and cocktails under an interactive and participatory approach. That is to say, here the diners are not only spectators, but active participants in the creative process behind each bite, each sip, of the Guru Lab experience. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 20 diners gather starting at six the afternoon to participate in this creative process. From Monday to Wednesday, the days when this restaurant closes its doors, Guru Lab functions as an experimentation space for Viva Madrid and Salmon Guru.

In terms of gastronomy, the team is led by chef Victor Camargo, responsible for the gastronomic proposals of Baan, Viva Madrid, Salmon Guru and also in charge of Genko, one of the most successful all-you-can-eat Asian cuisine buffets in Madrid. The mixologist Anxo Vila He is in charge of its cocktail bar, a bartender who comes to the project after having worked with distinguished venues such as StreetXo or Dspeak. Together they create a changing and fun menu, full of explosive and innovative flavors, both solid and liquid.

Every night, at the Guru Lab table you can try completely different dishes and cocktails. The gastronomic offer, as well as the cocktails made by the bartenders, They adapt to the tastes of each visitorto the products available on the market and to the inspiration of the team. As for prices, the average ticket ranges between 50 and 70 euros. The price of all cocktails is 14 euros, while dishes range from 7.5 euros to €19.
