Emmanuel and Manuel Mijaresoffered two concerts at the Citibanamex Auditorium in Monterrey as part of their tour ‘Two friends 10 years’. There, the interpreter of ‘La chica de humo’ took advantage of his proximity to the public to share his opinion about the election day that will take place this Sunday. June 2 throughout the country and called to exercise this right.

“Let’s hope there is peace this Sunday when we have to go out and vote. We have to go out and vote,” the singer began.

Almost immediately, the public reacted with cheers in favor of the candidate they will support to become president of Mexico: Claudia Sheinbaum, Xóchitl Gálvez or Jorge Álvarez Máynez.

The singer asked everyone to vote on June 2

The auditorium became a pitched battle to see which candidate had the support of the people of Monterrey. This caused both Emmanuel and Manuel Mijares to remain silent for a moment in anticipation and, when the situation finally calmed down, the ‘Blue King’ spoke again to conclude his message.

“We do not want freedom without peace, we want peace in freedom.”

After what happened, the concert continued normally and no mishaps were recorded.
