singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has canceled her ‘This Is Me… Live’ summer tour to spend more time with your family and claims to be “heartbroken” by the decision, according to the statement that Lopez published on her website.
“The representatives of Live Nation (the tour promoter) announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour “This Is Me…Live” is cancelledciting that “Jennifer is taking a free time to spend with your children, family and close friends“, can be read in the announcement published on Friday.
“For those who purchased through Ticketmaster, tickets will be automatically refunded—fans don’t have to do anything else—. For those who purchased through third party reseller sites like SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats…please contact your point of purchase for more details.”
On the other hand, Lopez wanted to leave a special message for his followersin which he claims to feel “completely heartbroken and devastated to disappoint you“I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t feel it was absolutely necessary,” the message continues. “I promise you that we will be together again“.
Bad results
The truth is This news was not a surprise.since for months the tour has been ‘attacked’ by reports in which they reflected low ticket sales and the seats that were left to sell at most concerts. Some bad results that accompany the artist from the beginning, since canceled seven tour dates -his first North American tour in five years– before the insufficient demand in mid-Aprildetails the American weekly Variety.
At that moment, the singer discreetly changed the name to try to improve sales, going from ‘This Is Me… Now’ to ‘This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits’.
