Netflix has gotten into the thick of things animes and animated series from big franchises and now it’s the turn of ‘Terminator Zero’, a new twist to James Cameron’s iconic saga. New protagonist, new villain, and new story

From the outset, ‘Terminator Zero’ has found its new protagonist: Timothy Olyphant (‘Justified’, ‘The Mandalorian’) will voice Terminator in the anime series. Netflix has already shown some first images, and we can expect a full trailer in the coming months, in addition to confirming its fpremiere date on the platform for next August 29.

Not many details about ‘Terminator Zero’ are still known, but it has been revealed that will move between two timelines, in 2022 and 1997, to focus on different moments of the war between humanity and Skynet.

In this case, the anime focuses on a soldier who is sent to the past to protect Malcolm Lee, a scientist who is working on an artificial intelligence system that could compete with Skynet and is now being pursued by a Terminator sent from the future.
