Chilean restaurant is among the 50 best in the world

After a long wait it came to light The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024a list that seeks to recognize the best of the gastronomy Worldwide.

In an elegant ceremony that took place at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel, United States, industry critics, chefs and restaurant representatives gathered to celebrate the 22nd edition of the awards.

Among all the locals that appeared in the ranking, which included 26 countries from five continents, one Chilean was once again able to stand out.

The Chilean gastronomic establishment that managed to enter the prestigious list was Boragó. For the second year in a row, it ranked 29th.

Led by renowned chef Rodolfo Guzman, the restaurant usually stands out for having sustainability as a priority, since they use endemic ingredients to prepare their culinary preparations. That was what they valued at the so-called “Oscar awards” of gastronomy.

“Having a kilometer zero cooking philosophy, maintaining local ecosystems and responsible sourcing are some of the measures implemented in Boragó”details the review.

It is also highlighted that by using different native products of the country, tasty and creative dishes are obtained such as “the Maule pink tomato fillet with grapes and wild fruits and the king crab with sea carrot custard.”
