The second season of ‘The House of the Dragon‘is one of the great premieres of 2024 on television. The work set in the universe of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ created by George RR Martin has managed to be a huge success, and one of the stars of the series is Rhaenyra Targaryen, which was played by two different actresses in the first season. The reason? The change in age and growth of the character, which in the majority of the series is carried out by the British actress Emma D’Arcy; but in the first five episodes of season 1 she was Milly Alcocka young Australian, who gave life to the daughter of Viserys I Targaryen.

In an interview with the Australian magazine Stellar, Milly Alcock states that “I never thought this would happen to me. I was washing dishes in a restaurant, living in my mother’s attic. I thought this couldn’t happen to people like me, everything happened incredibly fast. I was frozen. I took a deep breath and asked my friend if she had wine. “Then I called my family.” The most curious thing is that Milly Alcock was unaware that she had auditioned for ‘The House of the Dragon’, and that her audition had been for an unknown HBO project, the actress had not even seen Game of Thrones.
His time in the series was brief but intense, leaving a great memory in all viewers during the first five episodes. Now, her career has taken off and she will be part of James Gunn’s DC Universe as the new Supergirl.
