Today the III Ondas Globales Podcast Awards were presented at the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid. The main Spanish-language podcast awards in the world have brought together, in a single night, the most outstanding creators of 2024.
The awards were attended by the winners of this edition, like Vicky Martín Berrocal (Alone with… Vicky Martín Berrocal), Inés Hernand and Nerea Pérez de las Heras (We will come out better), Ana Brito (Little is said!)Victoria Martin (Bad people), Victor Clavijo (Human Resources), Manuel Bartual (Titania) or Arturo González-Campos, Rodrigo Cortés, Javier Cansado and Juan Gómez-Jurado (Almighty), among others.
As well as other big names in the podcast, such as Andreu Buenafuente and Berto Romero (nobody knows anything), Tomàs Fuentes and Ignasi Taltavull (The ruin), Alba Carrillo (we have gotten involved), Carolina Iglesias (Stretching the gum), Esty Quesada, I’m a loser (Special People Club), Sindy Takanashi (Dear sisters) Ana Garriga (Felipe’s daughters), Samantha Gilabert (Triumphs with traumas), Malbert (Dear hater), Laura Baena (bad mothers club) or Marina Rivers (You know it?). Guests from the world of culture and society also joined, such as Alba Díaz Berrocal, among others.
A ceremony that also gave rise to emotions. Among them, the protagonist of the podcast ‘Fátima: 10 mujeres’, which tells the story of 10 women who were murdered by feminicide. “R.I represent all the mothers who suffer from it, this is a cry for justice and a radical change in our societies. We cannot allow ourselves to be silenced or ignored, we must move forward.”
Vicky Martín Berrocal also starred in another exciting moment when remembering Jesús Quintero after collecting the award. “Thank you for seeing me, for believing in me and telling me that this had to be the project. Thank you for teaching me that silences can also ask questions,” he said. “When I started I never dreamed of this, I simply dreamed of being free, of someone trusting me. Thanks to Grupo Prisa, you are the best travel companions,” she added.
Gala broadcast
At 7 p.m. the preshowwhich could be followed exclusively through the TikTok profile of the Ondas Awards and the hashtag official #PodcastenTikTok. The gala began at 8:00 p.m. and was broadcast live on the Cadena SER website, the Ondas Awards website, and also on Diario AS. The station’s social networks have also commented on the best moments under the hashtag #OndasdelPodcast.
The gala has been hosted by Henar Álvarez and Lalachusboth with a script by El Terrat (The Mediapro Studios), and the popular Judith Tiral presented the preshow, a special program with interviews on the carpet. Three queen voices of current national comedy, culture and podcasts who were accompanied by Delaporte and Rozalenstars of the night’s musical lineup.
