Costa’s sudden departure from the cast of “Legally Blonde” generated all kinds of rumors. Although the comedian assured that it was she who made the decision to resign because she was very tired and that she had been sleeping only 3 hours a day for months, another version circulated in the media.

Paula Varela said in “Partners of the show” (Channel 13) that the people of the group could not stand her any longer. “They told me, literally, that It was ‘a machine for insulting, bullying, mistreating the kids in the ensemble who spend 10 hours working. Everyone got tired, from the producer to his colleagues.’ “This is what they told me.”

Costa denies the bad vibes with his teammates

Mariana Brey, who had been at the theater as a spectator over the weekend, contributed her feelings: “When the performance ended, they invited me to greet the cast and I noticed strange weather. At that moment there were already rumors about Costa’s departure but I think she didn’t even know it. “I noticed that there was something else, a certain discomfort from everyone.”

Adrián Pallares, for his part, spoke with Carlos Rottemberg and he assured him that Costa had always been very professional and respectful with the company. “I clarify that this is what the theater producer says. Then there is Tomás Rottemberg, his son, who is the stage producer. Perhaps his point of view is different.”

Without hesitation, Varela added: “It bothers me that they tell me that I invent. What I’m saying came from the cast itself, from Costa’s theater colleagues. They say they got tired of his mistreatment.”

What did Costa say?

In dialogue with PRONTO.com.ar, the comedian completely denied that she had been fired as well as denied having had a bad relationship with her colleagues. She even said that it ‘hurt her a lot’ that she and the rest of the cast got dirty like that.

“I am very exhausted. The work is beautiful and very demanding. It is ugly that they say all that because it was not like that. It hurts me that they invent because we are all workers,” she insisted.
