The television host, Julia Vial, revealed that after 25 years, her marriage with her husband, the film critic Leopoldo Muñoz It ended. The journalist is also the first time to speak on this topic, stating that it was not an “easy” decision.
He said this in a CHV program, where he provided greater details of the circumstances that led to the breakup. It should be noted that both are parents of two minors, who have the same name as their parents, Julia, 14 years old, and Leopoldo, 8.

In the show, the host said that the breakup occurred due to the distance she began to feel with her partner, which had been occurring for some time now. For this reason, they decided to take different paths.
“After 25 years, we suddenly realized that we were tremendous parents, but that we had lost touch with each other as a couple…” he said, adding that such a decision is not so simple to make.

The journalist and her ex-husband, Leopoldo “Polo” Muñoz, met as young people, when she was barely 19 years old, at a summer party she attended, as she revealed in 2023. The two arrived in Santiago and between phone calls, the relationship took place and lasted more than 20 years.
