Unión Magdalena is being investigated for illegal betting issues and some players have been accused of these events that have the team in the eye of the hurricane.
After it became known that several footballers from the club would be taking advantage of being main actors to earn good sums of money and now, the testimony of some team players was released who give two specific names on this betting issue.
The YouTube channel ‘Bahía Linda Radio’, released the statements of some Unión Magdalena footballers and assured that they saw suspicions due to the unusual behavior of some, although two names came to light that would be involved in this issue: Daiver Vega and Alain Guerrero.
Likewise, the players who contributed to the investigation and whose names are not known, said that Daiver was one of those who decided who played.
Furthermore, the complaint reveals that the sums they would have received would range between 15 and 20 million pesos per game.
Finally, in the anonymous testimonies it was revealed that the irregularities occurred in the early days and that many other players on the team were invited to be part of the business, but many refused.
