Concepción del Uruguay: massive march in defense of public universities
This Tuesday, April 23, the great Federal University March in defense of universities and public education took place throughout the country, jointly convened by the University Union Front, the Argentine University Federation and the National Interuniversity Council. More than a million people gathered in numerous cities in Argentina to express their unrestricted defense of public universities and their energetic rejection of the adjustment and emptying policies that the national government has been implementing.

In Concepción del Uruguay, around 10,000 people filled the streets of the local center on Tuesday night, convened by the university table of representatives of teaching workers, non-teaching workers and students from the National University of Entre Ríos, the National Technological University and the Autonomous University of Entre Ríos. Likewise, different educational, professional, union and citizen institutions and organizations added their support and accompanied the march.
The column marched around Plaza Francisco Ramírez and gathered in front of the UNER Rectorate, where the unique document prepared and signed by the convening organizations was read.
