Representative of Santa María demands a good electricity service for the rural sector of this municipality #Tolditos7días

The municipal representative of Santa María, José Alberto Orozco Sánchez, went to a right to petition to demand good electricity service in the rural sector of this town in the province of Neira, which with the first downpours is already beginning to suffer from blackouts. followed.

“With the arrival of the first rains, the intermittency of the energy service became widespread and evident.

As it is logical to interpret, if a failure occurs at night the service can be reestablished on some occasions the next day, but when the failure is massive in different areas, we only have one service operator in the municipality, who does as far as he can,” the personero explained.

Orozco Sánchez complained about the poor provision of the service in the winter season and wondered what the general reason for this recurring failure is and why to date no measures have been taken to solve the problem, which is repetitive.

What have been the measures that the Boyacá Energy Company has implemented to mitigate this failure; If they have not been carried out, they should be implemented in a manner

immediately with the aim of improving the service and avoiding judicial wear and tear,” the representative told the EBSA in his right to petition.
