Four peopleincluding a popular music singer and a DJ, were murdered in a massacre occurred in the municipality of Corintoin Cauca, as reported by the authorities on the morning of Saturday, April 27.
“The artist Sebastián Muñoz and his presenter on stage, DJ JJ Villegas, died on the night of Friday, April 26, under confusing circumstances in the municipality of Corinto,” the artist’s representation agency announced.
Muñoz, from 68 years and known as the “King of the parties” of popular and northern Mexican music, he was leaving the city of Cali when he received a call for a private presentationin which the “hitman attack or massacre” occurred.
Preliminary reports from the authorities indicate that unknown armed persons fired shots to the victims in a house where the event was taking place.

“The work team sends its condolences to his family, wife and son and other relatives, who in life was a great father, husband, brother and son, friend,” the singer’s work team said.
Corinto, a red zone in Cauca, andIt is one of the areas of influence of the Dagoberto Ramos front, which is part of the Central General Staff commanded by ‘Iván Mordisco’, the main dissident of the FARC. However, the authorship of the events or motivations is still unknown.
Although the Central General Staff had initiated npeace negotiations with the Government, the constant attacks, attacks and massacres perpetrated by the fronts of this group, especially in Cauca, have led the Colombian Government to suspend the ceasefire that was in force in three departments.
