The institution indicated that the laboratory, with the capacity to produce between 3 and 4 tons of cocaine hydrochloride per month, would allegedly be linked to the illegal finance subsystem of the Iván Ríos faction of the Second Marquetalia, of the self-proclaimed Pacific Guerrilla Coordinator of the FARC dissidents.

According to the Military Forces, “This complex would be valued at more than two billion pesos“, money with which this criminal structure financed its criminal actions against the civilian population and the Public Force in this area of ​​the department of Nariño.”
