The confrontation, historic indeed for the Salta team, will be the best of five games with the 2-2-1 system, that is, the first two in Córdoba – the sporting advantage is held by the Greek -, the third and the fourth (of if necessary) in the fortress of the infernals, the Delmi stadium, and if the fifth match is reached, the series will be moved again to Cerutti.
During the regular phase, Atenas ranked second in the Northern Conference with a record of 24 wins and 6 losses, while the Infernals reached tenth place with 15 wins and the same number of losses. By being second, the Greek from Cordoba qualified directly to the quarterfinals, while the team led by Ricardo de Cecco faced Amancay in the reclassification instance.
