He Governor of Antioquia, Andrés Julián Rendón, announced on his social networks the capture of an alleged sexual offender in the department of Córdoba and the surrender of another man for the same crime in Remedios, Antioquia.
«The most wanted aggressors and murderers of girls and women in Antioquia are falling! We’re breathing down their necks!said the Governor.
The first to fall under the law’s sights was Edison T., arrested by the Police in the municipality of Los Córdobas, in the department of Córdoba. According to police reports, the man faces charges of violent sexual act aggravated by events recorded in Garden, Antioch.
Another man turned himself in in Remedios for similar crimes
But the operation did not stop there. John C.., another individual wanted for similar crimes, voluntarily surrendered at the Police Command of Remedies.
The men were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority and will face charges in accordance with article 205 of the Penal Code, which typifies the crime of aggravated violent sexual act.
