Colo Colo has defined its rival for the round of 16 of the Chile Cup in its Regional Phase. Brayan Cortés, Cacique’s goalkeeper, was in charge of choosing the Popular team’s rival in the tournament draw. The first confrontation that the Eternal Champion will have will come from the winner in the key of Colegio Quillón or Constitución Unidos.
A key that started quickly given that they faced each other this Saturday and will have first leg matches. The first of the duels featured the victory of the local Colegio Quillón by a score of four to three over Constitución Unidos and took advantage to face Colo Colo in the Chile Cup.
Constitución Unidos began to surprise by taking the lead by a difference of two on the scoreboard with the conquests of Patricio Muñoz (2′) and Benjamín Ramírez (27′). However, the college team would turn the score around to take a partial lead four to two. with goals from Karim Desfadur (45’+3), Christopher Godoy (65′, 71′) and Alexis Ponce (90’+3′). Finally, Constitución scored a discount to shorten the score thanks to Matías Benítez (90’+6′).
Quillón’s victory still does not ensure his qualification to face Colo Colo, given that these matches will be round-trip. So things are, Next weekend Colegio Quillón will have to visit Constitución Unidos on a date and time to be confirmed to define Cacique’s rival in the Chile Cup.

Colegio Quillón and Constitución Unidos participate in the tournament in the Third Division A of Chilean soccer.
