This Friday, the Artex Branch in Holguín received the flag that accredits the group as a National Vanguard awarded by the Cuban Workers’ Central (CTC) in recognition of its outstanding work in defense of Cuban cultural heritage and the hard work developed during the last year. .
The event held at the La Periquera Provincial Museum was attended by Nilcer Batista, official of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba; Félix Martínez, secretary of the Cultural Workers Union in the territory; Yaquelín Tapia, provincial director of Culture and Jorge Otero, general manager of Artex in Holguín.
Among the results of the company that made it worthy of such a high stimulus are the alliances with non-state forms of management, the fulfillment of sales at 125% and from a profit plan of six million it was possible to obtain 15.3 lo that influenced the benefits to the workers.
“The Branch has carried out extensive work to support the El Paraíso community, the home for children without family protection that we serve and the Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja Pediatric Hospital. Our stores and cultural centers provide a service of excellence and they have been involved in all the cultural events in the territory,” said Jorge Otero Leyva, general manager of Artex in Holguín.
Several artists starred in the space such as the soloists Mariem Hernández and Yamila Rodríguez, a representation of dance students belonging to the Raúl Gómez García Elementary School of Art, the musical group Feeling Voices and the conducting of Raúl Rodríguez.
Representativeness and work based on the public have characterized the union work carried out by Artex until it became a team of excellence for the third time, achieving compliance with economic plans and providing quality service. The moment was favorable to demonstrate their commitment to parade this May 1st through the Cuba that we created together.
