A few days ago, a provincial police officer was injured after a road accident on Bolivia Avenue in the Los Huaicos neighborhood of the capital of Jujuy.
According to sources consulted by this media, around 8:20 p.m. a uniformed man was traveling along Bolivia Avenue as a companion on a motorcycle driven by his brother.
In these circumstances, at the level of the provincial Ministry of Human Development, while they were traveling on a 110 cc Gilera motorcycle in a north-south direction, they were hit head-on by a quadricycle driven by a man.
After the impact, the driver of the quadricycle fled towards the Los Molinos neighborhood.
As a result of the road accident, the two men on board the motorcycle were thrown and fell on the asphalt, causing them to suffer injuries of varying degrees in different parts of their bodies.
Minutes later, the Same staff was alerted to what happened and arrived at the scene of the incident.
The injured agent was then transferred to the “Pablo Soria” hospital in the capital due to lumbar injuries.
Later, Road Safety personnel also arrived at the scene and performed a breathalyzer test on the motorcycle driver with a negative result.
Once at the hospital, the police officer who had finished his workday at the 54th Section of Yala, was diagnosed with trauma to his spine and left ankle, which is why he was hospitalized for observation.
Regarding the road accident, the prosecutor on duty indicated that prevention actions be carried out.
He also requested the security cameras installed in the area of the incident and the seizure of the damaged motorcycle for not possessing the relevant documentation.
