A shower of goals from the Red Devils in their 6-0 home victory over the Loínos on matchday 10 of the National Championship. The outsiders played almost the entire duel with one less and were unable to face the clear superiority of the chillanejos, who climbed the table.

Set and match in Chillán. Ñublense became strong at home and beat Cobreloa 6-0 on matchday 10 of Chilean soccer. The locals dominated from the beginning and then with the extra man they were clearly superior to achieve a win at home that made them climb the National Championship table.

An early goal from Pedro Sánchez (2′) after a good play and pass from Bernardo Cerezo served to open the score and make it 1-0 for the Reds. Then, Flavio Moya (22′) took advantage of a mistaken pass from the rival goalkeeper and scored over Nicolás Avellaneda, who was very advanced on the line of the area, and scored a great goal to make it 2-0.

To make the visit worse, Gastón Rodríguez complained about a penalty, however, the referee did not believe him and gave him a yellow card for simulating. Given this, the Uruguayan forward applauded in mockery and received the second yellow, for which he was sent off and left the Loínos with one less in the 30th minute.

This was quickly taken advantage of by the locals who took a 3-0 lead thanks to Jovanny Campusano (34′) and when the break arrived, Lorenzo Reyes (45+1′) scored with a penalty and immediately afterwards Gabriel Graciani sent it to save (45+4′) to leave the advantage 5-0.

The second half began with a new great goal, this time by the feet of Cerezo (48′), who already had two assists and was one of the figures of his team, he nailed the ball to Angulo and made it 6-0. Then the goalkeepers of both teams had key interventions so that neither of them could score.

How did they finish on the table and when will they play again?

With the victory achieved at home, Ñublense reached 14 points and climbed to seventh position in the table. Their next rival will be Unión La Calera on 05/05 at 12:30 p.m.

For its part, Cobreloa suffered its biggest defeat in Chilean soccer and stagnated in 11th position with 13 points after two consecutive defeats. To recover in the Championship, the Loínos will face Everton, also on May 5 at 3:00 p.m.
