Again in Cauca. The Seventh Brigade National Army confirmed the kidnapping of the professional soldier, Guiner Noscue Largo, and who was on leave in Toribío, Cauca.
The event occurred on April 26 and the family learned of his illegal detention after receiving a call where illegal dissident groups claimed responsibility for the soldier’s kidnapping.
Apparently they deceived the soldier by claiming that his brother was kidnapped and when the soldier arrived in the Tacueyó sector, he was intercepted by the illegal armed group.
«He was kidnapped, apparently by the organized armed group Farc –EMC in the department of Cauca, while enjoying his operational rest cycle in the municipality of Toribío”
The Army demanded his release and denounced that he was detained irregularly by an illegal armed group. The exact place of the kidnapping occurred in the Tacueyó sector, Toribío.
Currently belonging to the 4th Field Artillery Battalion and it appears that this kidnapping was carried out by FARC dissidents.

UN demands release of Prosecutor’s Office officials
The news of the kidnapping of the professional soldier in Toribio adds to what was recorded several days ago by officials of the Prosecutor’s Office.

The UN published: “We urge that the life and integrity of these three people be respected. We ask those who have them in their possession to release them immediately, safe and sound.”
Leonardo González, coordinator of Indepaz, expressed that “It is a fact of absolute seriousness (…) Respect for his life and the prompt release of the officials are demanded.”
