The extraordinary sessions in the Neiva Council Corporation have closed, convened by the Mayor of Neiva, by decree 0250 of 2024
The objective of the extraordinary sessions was to process four draft agreements presented by the mayor’s administration, engineer Germán Casagua in the first presentation in committee, and a draft agreement in the second presentation before the plenary session of the Neiva Council Corporation. .
During the development of the extraordinary sessions, the procedures corresponding to the agreements presented by the municipal administration were carried out, as follows:
– Approve in the Third Committee and process for the second presentation in plenary the Draft Agreement 005 of 2024 “Authorize the Mayor of Neiva, so that on behalf of the municipality of Neiva (H), he constitutes autonomous assets through commercial trust contracts. , transferring two real estate properties free of charge for the development of social housing projects.”
– Approve in the Second Commission and process for a second presentation in plenary the Draft Agreement 004 of 2024 “By which the general budget of income and income and capital resources and expenses and investments of the municipality of Neiva is settled, for the validity period of the year two thousand twenty-four (2024) contemplated in the development plan “Citizen mandate, territory of life and peace 2020-2023”
– Approve in the First Commission the Draft Agreement 006 of 2024, “By which articles 2, e and 6 of the municipal agreement No. 004 of 2016 are modified and other provisions are dictated on the Municipal Council of Culture of Neiva”
– Draft Agreement 007 was archived in the Third Commission due to a procedural error.
– The central administration of the municipality requested the withdrawal of Draft Agreement No.003 “By which special payment and fiscal sustainability conditions are established for the municipality of Neiva” the project was in process for the second presentation in the plenary.
The president of the Neiva Council Corporation, when closing the extraordinary sessions, indicated, “… we are waiting to begin the analysis of the Municipal Development Plan, in the coming days the deadline for the current administration to file the final version of the Draft Agreement of the Development Plan that I could say is the most important Draft Agreement of the present term…”
Councilor Jesús Andrés Garzón, expressed his annoyance at the withdrawal of Project Agreement 003 of 2024, by the municipal administration and indicated, “very regrettable, hundreds of people were pending this important project, they owe the administration 215 thousand millions of pesos and well, this was a win-win between the municipal administration and the citizens who were in default with the administration, unfortunately they withdraw it…”
