Under the guidelines of the fight against drug trafficking taught by the Ministry of National Security, the PFA (Argentine Federal Police) dismantled an important drug gang that operated internationally. They stopped its members and seized several kilos of cocaine.
Agents from the Córdoba Anti-Drug Division carried out an exhaustive investigation through which they established the modus operandi of an illicit association led by a woman of Colombian nationality housed in the Federal Penitentiary Service of Güemes, Salta, with a conviction for Violation of the Drug Law.
The head of the organization narco He commanded the activities from his place of detention, producing million-dollar profits by marketing drugs in the cities of Córdoba, San Luis, Mendoza and Buenos Aires.
After informing the Federal Prosecutor’s Office No. 2 of Córdoba of these circumstances, it was decided to deepen the investigation using special monitoring techniques, telephone interventions and analysis of information, tasks that made it possible to establish the exact day and time of the transport of a load of narcotics brought from Bolivia to the city of Córdoba.
For this reason, a vehicle control was implemented on National Route No. 9, km 773, near the town of Sarmiento, managing to intercept the vehicle in which the substance was being transported, after which the detention of two members of the narco gang. This is a 67-year-old man of Argentine nationality and a 61-year-old Peruvian woman.
Likewise, inside the vehicle were found 4 bricks of cocaine hydrochloride weighing 4,500 kilos, with a value of more than 6 million pesos.
It should be noted that the seized drugs had the seal of the drug lord Reynaldo Castedo “El Delfín”, better known as “El Patrón del Norte”.

At the same time, other brigades of the Anti-Drug Division raided 2 homes of those investigated in the Liceo III neighborhood, city of Córdoba, where another 57-year-old individual of Colombian nationality, lieutenant of the aforementioned Peruvian detainee and in charge of financing the operations inside, was captured. of this criminal structure.
On the other hand, the Tucumán Anti-Drug Division carried out the search warrant at the Federal Penitentiary Service No. 3 of Güemes, where the Colombian leader of the organization is housed, seizing valuable documentation for the case.
Additionally, as a result of the procedures, 12 cell phones, a Chevrolet Corsa vehicle, a Peugeot 207, three memory cards, agendas, 293,500 pesos and 2,618 dollars were seized.
