During the response of the three police officers murdered in Cañetethe President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, announced that he instructed all public schools to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Carabineros of Chile.
“I have instructed the Minister of Education that on Monday, in all public schools, the school day begins with a tribute to our martyred police officers, and reflect on the importance of this work, and know the sacrifice that these three martyrs have made for my country“said the authority at the wake.

The head of state went on to say that “It is a sad day, where the entire country is in mourning. We are going to move sky, sea and earth to find the miserable criminals who committed this murder vil.”
Furthermore, he noted that “It is a fact that we condemn without any doubt or nuanceI offer my condolences to the families of these three martyrs who died in the line of duty.”.
“I know that throughout the country, there are millions our compatriots who become part of this painand surely, today the checkpoints, police stations, sub-police stations, and in every place where there is a police officer, will receive signs of affection and affection from the country”, concluded the president.
