Chile Vamos and Republicans expressed their indignation after a new attack on police officers

Outrage was caused among political representatives of Magallanes, after learning of the horrendous crime that occurred in the early hours of yesterday, where three police officers were murdered after being ambushed during a patrol in the town of Antiquina, in the southern area of ​​Cañete, Bío Bío region. .
The incident occurred around 01:00 on Saturday, at kilometer 25 of route P72S, near the border of Cañete and Tirúa, when firefighters found a police patrol car on fire and with the bodies of three police officers inside. .
From the Republican Party and Chile Vamos in Magallanes, they expressed their most complete repudiation of what happened.
The regional president of the Republican Party, Javier Romero, mentioned that “we strongly condemn the attack suffered by the Carabineros of Chile and for which three of our beloved Carabineros brutally died and were burned. We demand that the Government state a state of siege in the southern austral macrozone, the resignation of Minister Carolina Tohá and the undersecretaries in charge of security in the government. “This is a terrorist act and where heavy caliber weapons were seized.”
For her part, the regional president of RN, Cecilia Cárdenas, said that “in Renovación Nacional we stand in solidarity with the institution of Carabineros of Chile, enough with speeches and saying that criminals will be persecuted, because it is nothing other than a terrorist attack . Chile does not give any more and our police go out every day to risk their lives and we have a government that comes out with a speech, that they will be pursued by sky, sea and land, but enough of the speeches and let’s do more concrete actions.
Meanwhile, the regional president of Evópoli, Ricardo Hernández, added that “it is not enough to provide economic resources and cars to Carabineros, institutional support is necessary that comes from the Executive and also the Legislature. Laws are needed that strengthen the role of Carabineros, their functions and also laws that punish criminals and terrorism in Chile with greater force. We have seen actions of complicity when a government generates pardons, gives pardons to criminals and terrorists.”
Finally, the candidate for governor of the UDI, José Barría, stated “that this pain of Carabineros, at least achieve greater recognition for the institution and that the government allocates more resources to officials, Congress processes the security and intelligence laws, Our GORE provides resources in infrastructure and technology, and schools and high schools once again chant “Order and Homeland is our motto.”
