At a checkpoint installed by the police on the Neiva – Yaguará highway, 800 kilos of dope
coming from Caucawhich were transported in a private four-door truck type vehicle and whose destination was the city of Bogotá.
The commander of the Huila Police, Colonel William Javier Lara, confirmed that the driver captured in the operation had tried to flee the scene when observing the presence of the uniformed men.
“The seizure of 800 kilos of marijuana was achieved that were transported in a van, the hallucinogen valued at 800 million pesos was going to be taken to the center of the country, the driver of the vehicle was captured and will have to answer for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking or carrying narcotics,” said Colonel Lara.
According to the authorities, when inspecting the car, the police found nearly 200 pressed packages. in black plastic in the back of the vehicle, where they had camouflaged the shipment of marijuana.
