“Proyecto Bucle” will premiere its new production on Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th at the Rodelillo Performing Arts Hall in Valparaíso.
Proyecto Bucle is the first creation of a group of professionals and artists who, since January to date, have been working on a residency and research process within the Rodelillo Performing Arts Hall. A work with futuristic aesthetics, which from the beginning sought to rescue the local imaginaries of its members to address complex themes such as HIV, artificial intelligence and death. An attractive staging, with acting courage and that dialogues interdisciplinary with the audiovisual world .
About the work, its director Diego Poblete relates: “The story tells the experience of an actress who is contacted through a call to kill the President. Faced with that conflict, the woman suffers the tension of her own values and those of a global agenda that she feels demands and represses. The staging allows us to question aspects such as the pure hygiene of the society in which we survive, in addition to reflecting on the mechanisms and alternatives that the controversial artificial intelligences (AI) provide us with, in the present and future.”
The premiere of Proyecto Bucle will be next weekend, with the performances being Saturday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 5 at 6 p.m. in the Rodelillo Performing Arts Room, located within the CECO offices on Av.
