Since 1999 with training in Concepción, Álvaro and Gonzalo López, Mauricio and Francisco Durán, as well as Mauricio Basualto managed to install songs in the subconscious of Chilean and Latin American culture. With a break since 2014, a reunion in 2019 and finally officially in 2022, Los Bunkers entered the great history of Chilean rock.
“Ven Aqui” is the reunion tour that the band carried out and that is culminating with two presentations in the packed National Stadium, sharing with Los Prisioneros the category of rock band that filled the capital’s main sports colossus on two occasions.
More than two decades had to pass for this milestone, which was fully achieved by the Penquista group that showed a first-class show.
The Bunkers at the National Stadium: Day 2
All because of the mastery of creating great moments by Álvaro, Gonzalo, Francisco, Mauricio and the cheered Cancamusa. From their first song “Come Here” to the last “Llueve sobre la Ciudad”, Los Bunkers showed that in their concerts you can laugh with their collaboration with 31 Minutos and the character from the series “Guaripolo”, who even played jokes with the presentation from Los Tres, who appeared on stage a couple of blocks away at Movistar Arena.
Also get excited with the performance of “La Exiliada del Sur” or “El Detenido”, playing from Hatch Number 8 of the Human Rights Memorial of the National Stadium. Surprise you with incredible atmospheres in “Now that you are not here” or in “Bailando Solo” transforming everything into a dance floor. There were 33 songs that they chose in a live treatment that was perfect based on their arrangements and the sound in the place.
Three hours of show with Los Bunkers attracting 100 thousand people in a historic milestone. Held in the most significant soccer stadium in the country, the band once again shows Chilean rock in a crowded place. In addition to both concerts, both performed by Los Tres and who still have a couple more to go, and Mark Farner at the Caupolicán Theater shows that this weekend the music we like the most continues to be a mass phenomenon in our country.
