There is already a date to finish the long-awaited access roundabout to the San José de Toledo Residence

Throughout the next month of June it is estimated that the access roundabout to the San José de Toledo Assisted Social Residenceaccording to the forecasts announced this Monday by the Minister of Development of the Board, Nacho Hernandoand the president of the Toledo Provincial Council, Conchi Cedilloduring an official visit to the works.

With an estimated investment of 254,000 eurosthis roundabout is being built in the kilometer 3 of the CM-4001 highway, which connects the Azucacia neighborhood in Toledo with the town of Mocejón, a road with “abundant” traffic that needed this improvement to circulate and access the social and health center safely. It is considered an “essential” work.

The roundabout will be the only access to this residence, which has with 300 residents and is served by more than 460 workers, to which must be added the 28 users of the Alzheimer’s day center. It is a socio-health center owned by the Toledo Provincial Council, although the works are financed jointly and in equal parts by virtue of the agreement signed with the Community Board.

For his part, the Minister of Development has indicated that This work is one more of those that the Ministry proposed five years ago to improve road safety on the region’s roads, with around thirty actions and the global investment of 8.5 million euros in the region as a whole.

“It is important that our roads are safe and that they are both for the neighbors, in this case of Azucaica and Mocejón, as well as for the workers of the San Jose Assisted Social Residence, which is one of the jewels in the crown of the Toledo Provincial Council”, he stressed.
